PIERRE SIBILLE : author/composer & performer – Touched by Blues music since his childhood, his great uncle’s piano as a legacy and those voices that carry so much feeling and hope… Pianist/singer and harmonica player, Pierre Sibille plays his blues from Paris to New York in clubs and festivals. An independent artist who likes to be useful to the causes that touch him, he finally chose French for his last two opuses, to say these simple things of everyday life ; his attachment to this peaceful and fraternal land, these dreams that haunt utopians giving them voice and body in new melodies, new notes of love… « . The Blues’ vision of life has certainly touched me to the very depths of my being since my early teens, when I gave my first concerts at the age of 14. It’s a sincere music that embraces the universality of emotions. It’s no longer a question of different cultures or continents, but of human beings ! That’s why my music expresses itself through different repertoires and musical genres, but it’s above all the story it tells and the human values it defends that creates the coherence of my career and my artistic choices.
